Meet Dr. Alia Paquette
Dr. Alia Paquette, a Newberg, Oregon native, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and her Doctor of Osteopathy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2011. Her DO training emphasized holistic medical science and healing touch, with over 200 hours of osteopathic manipulative medicine integrated into her medical education. She completed her residency with Legacy Health Services in Portland, becoming board certified in Internal Medicine in 2014.
Over the next decade, Dr. Paquette ran a busy internal medicine practice at Legacy Bridgeport Clinic, with a focus on women’s health, chronic pain management, and care for patients over 60. She maintained her passion for osteopathic manipulative medicine, offering drug-free pain management to her patients, particularly those who had lost hope in finding relief.
A personal health crisis in 2020 deepened her empathy for patients and reshaped her career goals. Inspired to explore the brain's role in health, she became certified in MAP neural retraining therapy, focusing on empowering the subconscious mind to promote healing, relieve trauma, and reduce pain.
Dr. Paquette now opens Repose, a wellness center and medical spa, where she blends hands-on therapy, internal medicine, and mental health support to heal the body from the inside out. She is committed to helping patients from all walks of life.
In her free time, Dr. Paquette enjoys life on her farm with her partner and their three sons, indulging in reading, cooking, hiking, and continuous learning.
